Mondays: 8.30 p.m, Poker (Texas Hold’Em). Entry Fee €30 with a ‘freeze out’ option. The Jackpot can amount to €1000. Players are given the opportunity to join the Christmas League which boasts a Jackpot of around €3000.
Wednesdays: 9.00 pm, Salsa Dancing. Lessons are €5 per night. The Dancing Maestro is Alan O’Brien - 13 times All-Ireland champion. Men are urgently needed for the dancing classes, as there are usually more women in attendance. !!!! A great night of fun and dancing is assured with Mexican food served.
Thursdays: 9.00 p.m, The weekly Talent Competition is open to all. The organizers are searching for a Bunclody Star. Entry is free and a prize fund of €1000 is in place for the winners. Ten heats are currently being run which will culminate in 3 semi finals. The 1st semi final is on the 6th September, the 2nd semi final is on the 11th of September and the 3rd is on the 20th September. The final 10 contestants will compete on the 27th and 28th September in a Gala Black Tie event with the Winner being announced on Friday the 28th.
Fridays: 10.00 p.m, A top Live Band. Bands who played at The Mall include the ever-popular Night Shade from Dublin, Elvis Tribute Show, The Grove from Wicklow, some of whose members played with Bagatelle, and Amhann Dubh, a lively balled group. During the summer months a Barbecue is held in the Garden with an All -You- Can- Eat menu for €16.95. Steaks, Seafood, Cajun Chicken and other gastronomical delights are included on the Menu. .
Saturdays: 9.30 p.m, Disco bar, and cocktail promotions and entry is Free.
Then off to the M2 Night Club
Sundays: The busiest day for food, so booking is advisable. Most Sunday evenings The Mall features music with local bands such as The Duck, & Fran and Dave. A great ole sing along and craic galore.
